Loyalist child land grant: Order-in-Council 13 June 1836,[2] however there is a land petition in 1832 from a Rachel Van Camp of Matilda.[3]

Unlike Reid,[2], who has John's niece Rachel marrying Amos Knapp, Helen Else[1] has this Rachel, John's daughter, marrying Amos Knapp.

An unknown Rachel Vancamp married in 1834 a William Hissin in the Eastern District of Upper Canada (which included Matilda).[4]
