Prudence "Estella" Anguish
Facts and Events
Estella was the eighth child in a family of nine. Her family was very active in the denomination of Disciples of Christ and her father was a elder of the church and her grandfather a minister of the New Bethel Christian Church. Education was very important to her and all of her seven children went to college and many in the family became teachers although they were raised on the farm. She lived on the farm after she became a widow but sold it before she died and then moved to the town of Moundsville and lived with her oldest daughter Geneva
Her granddaughter, Betty Lancaster Pickett has a copy of her marriage and death certificate. They are listed in the 1900 Census.
