Although commonly reported as a sister of John's 2nd wife Elizabeth, marrying the sister of your wife was illegal. Further, to be of legal age at the time of her marriage, she would have been born by 1646, about 7 years before Edward Wright married Elizabeth Mellowes. So at best, she was half-sister, though nothing seems known about any earlier marriage of Edward Wright. John and Priscilla Wright of Woburn might have had a daughter of the right age, though Cutter's article on the Wright Family of Woburn (NEHGR, vol. 37) doesn't show one.
