Priscilla MALLESON, an Englishwoman, married around 1630 to Pierre LAVERDURE, a French Huguenot who fled to Yorkshire, England; three sons, two became Catholics and Acadians. The family left England during 1657 bound for Boston, MA, in a group under new Acadian Governor Thomas TEMPLE, an Englishman. They moved to Port Royal, Acadia. After the Treaty of Breda in 1667, they returned to English Boston where Pierre died around 1676. Priscilla married 2nd on 8 Apr 1680 to Captain William WRIGHT. She died in Boston around 1691.
