Priscilla Reed the daughter of Samuel Reed & of Mary his wife, was born at Lunenburg Aug'st 10th 1749.
↑ Source:Reed, Jacob Whittemore. History of the Reed Family in Europe and America, p. 148, says this "Precilla" marriage 13 Feb 1765 Thomas Carter Jun. This is incorrect, that marriage belonged to a different Priscilla Reed. This is shown by the probate files of both fathers. In particular, the distribution of Samuel Reed [Worcester Probate 49291] in 1777 gives a share to "Priscilla the Wife of Mr. Joseph Martin".
