- Key, Price - entered service in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, early in Revolutionary War; moved 1792 to Kentucky, where pensioned at age 60+ in clark County, 1818; resided there in 1820 age 66 when resided with wife abt. age 60 & son abt. age. 17; died 7/7/1829 in Barren County, Kentucky; married 3/17/1786 to Sarah McQueen, Fauquier County, Virginia, who was born 1760-1767, widow pensioned 1839 in Barren County, Kentucky; nephews Alexander Key & Peyton Key made affidavit then Mason County, Kentucky; widow granted BLW312185 in Montgomery County, Kentucky 1855, died 9/7/1855; children mentioned but not named; Anderson Johns filed affidavit 1855 in MOntgomery County, Kentucky where he resided, he married daughter of soldier over 40 years ago & their daughter Sally Ann Pettit (soldier's grand-daughter) then resided there, F-W3021, R1478.
