!BIRTH-MARRIAGE-CHILDREN-RESIDENCES: Arsenault, Histoire et Genealogie, p. 1498 (Cobequid). This Pierre, who married Anne AUCOIN (no parents given for her), was "sans doute" the son of Jean & Marie HEBERT [sic]. He was at Ile Saint-Jean in 1752.

!BIRTH-CENSUS-OCCUPATION-MARRIAGE-CHILDREN-RESIDENCES-LAND: Placide Gaudet, REPORT CONCERNING CANADIAN ARCHIVES FOR THE YEAR 1905; 1600-1800; vol. II, part A, original a Sessional Paper no. 18 of the Archives, reprinted Heritage Books, 1994; p. 163; own copy. The census of Isle St. Jean in 1752 by the Sieur de la ROQUE: Pierre HENRY, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, age 46 years, has been in the country 14 months. Married to Anne AUCOIN, native of l'Acadie, age 46; nine children. They have 2 oxen, 2 cows, 1 heifer, 1 calf, 4 sows and 5 pigs, on land given to them verbally by Monsieur de BONNAVENTURE, situated on the Ance/Anse de la Boulottiere/Boullotierre. They have cleared enough for the sowing of 12 bushels of grain in the spring.

!BIRTH-MARRIAGE-CHILDREN-CENSUS-RESIDENCES-DEATH: Albert Robichaux, Jr., THE ACADIAN EXILES IN SAINT-MALO, 1758-1785; 1758-1785; Eunice, LA, Hebert Publications, 1981; vol. II (part I cont.), p. 499-500; own copy; this volume contains family genealogies H-Z. Pierre HENRY (no parents listed) was born about 1705; he is head of Family group #559, married about 1732 to Anne AUCOIN (no parents listed), who died at sea during the crossing to France; nine children are listed. "In 1752, Pierre Henry, Anne Aucoin, his wife and their children: Pierre, Paul, Antoine, Barthelemy, Timothe, Jeanne, Anastasie, Elisabeth and Marie-Josephe HENRY were residents of Anse-de-las Boullotierre on Isle St. Jean. They were sent to France on one of the "Five ships," and at sea his wife Anne died. On January 23, 1759, Pierre Henry, widower of Anne Aucoin and his children: Paul, Barthelemy, Timothe, Jeanne, Anastasie and Elizabeth HENRY disembarked at St. Malo. He died on 18 Feb 1759 [less than a month later] at the hospital at St. Malo, Ille-et-Vilaine, France. [Anastasie was only about 19 years old; she married two years later to Joseph DUGAST.]

!CHILDREN-RESIDENCES-DEATH: Additional information in Jehn, Corrections & Additions to Arsenault's Histoire et Genealogy des Acadiens. Possibly add a 2nd son Paul, born about 1735, who married 18 Feb 1760 at Pleudihen, [St. Malo] France, to Marie BOURG, born Abt 1743. Their children are also listed.

!PARENTS-MARRIAGE: He was son of Martin HENRY & Marie HEBERT, according to letter from Clarence T. BREAUX, in response to query in Acadian Genealogy Exchange, vol. 23, no. 3 (July 1994). He cited his source as Stephen White. [Discrepancy with Arsenault. Which is correct? Which Martin HENRY, which Marie HEBERT?]

!PARENTS: Albert Robichaux, Jr., THE ACADIAN EXILES IN SAINT-MALO; 1758-1785; Eunice, LA, Hebert Publications, 1981, Part I, vol. II; p. 501; own copy; contains Family Genealogies H-Z. The Pierre HENRY who was the son of Jean HENRY & Marie HEBERT is listed as head of family #560 here, born in 1719. Our Pierre must be the son of different parents, then, and Arsenault is mistaken.
