(Research):562. Pierre GUILBEAULT was born 27 Apr 1704 in Port-Royal, Acadia, and was baptized 11 May 1704 at St. Jean-Baptiste, Annapolis Royal. His godparents were Ambrose Melansson and Fran√[section sign]oise Bourg. (RG 1 Vol. 26 p.19, at the online database, Public Archives of the Province of Nova Scotia, at http://www.gov.ns.ca/nsarm/cap/acadian/registers.asp?ID=56&Search=Guillebeau&fieldSelect=surname). Following the expulsion of the Acadians, he was living in 1757 in Quebec. He was living in 1758 in St-Charles de Bellechasse. He was married to Madeleine FOREST on 21 Jan 1731 in Port-Royal, Acadia.(696) Witnesses were Charles Guilbaut (son of Charles Guilbaut, brother of the groom), Alexandre Guilbaut (son of Charles Guilbaut, brother of the groom), Ren√© Forest, and Jacques Forest (his son).
