His filiation to David Goulet & Philomene Nadeau is still a debate. He does not appear on the 1881 census, as the other children do, even though he was 16 at the time.

May be a confusion between him and his brother Joachim Goulet. They have the same year of birth and the same spouse : Elise Couture. No mariage record for either of them in NH but Elise Couture appears as mother of children born between 1888 and 1898 in Berlin.
