    Phyllis J. Kenly, 91, of Latrobe, died Sunday, July 10, 2016, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born Feb. 3, 1925, in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. Robbins and Margaret (Foltz) Robbins. Phyllis was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Latrobe. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by Kennametal Inc., Latrobe. She enjoyed cooking for all of her family and will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Kenly; two brothers, Harry and William Robbins; and five sisters, Irene Bauer, Ruth Atwater, Martha Hammel, Marian Nixon and Helen Tarn. Phyllis is survived by her daughter and caregiver, with whom she made her home, Patricia J. Kenly, of Latrobe; her son, William R. Kenly, of Latrobe; and her grandson, Zachary W. Kenly, of Latrobe. She is also survived by her friend and neighbor, Edith Kenly; and several nieces and nephews.

    Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. Jeffrey Schock, officiating. Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery.
