Phyllis Gentz

MORRISON, Ill. - Phyllis Olson Gentz, 79, died Friday at Morrison Community Hospital.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at Morrison United Methodist Church, preceded by prayers at 2:15 p.m. in the church chapel. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.

Visitation is 2-5 p.m. Sunday.

Phyllis Rick married Alfred Olson in 1942 in Morrison. He died in 1972. She married John Gentz in 1978 in Morrison.

Mrs. Gentz was a member of the church and Order of Eastern Star, Morrison.

Her hobbies and interests included camping.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Survivors include her husband; daughters, Paula (Mrs. Thomas) Stenson, Burlington, Wis., Nadine (Mrs. Steve) Brackemyer, Rochelle, and Kristine (Mrs. Jeffery) Tegeler, Manchester, Iowa; a son, Michael Olson, Morrison; stepdaughters, Sheri Radenslaben, Morrison, and Candis (Mrs. Richard) Alfred, Peoria; a stepson, Jon Gentz, Morrison; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; sisters, Lorraine Minssen, Sterling, Annelle (Mrs. Art) Janssen, Prophetstown, Mildred (Mrs. Bob) Richard, Homosassa Springs, Fla., and Mary (Mrs. Floyd) Dehlin, Amboy; and a brother, Richard Rick, Lyndon.

Mrs. Gentz also was preceded in death by a step-grandson, Derrik Radenslaben.
