From: October 2, 1956 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American P. F. Huddleston, 69, Buried At Yankee Springs October 2 Phine Francis Huddleston, 69, former police juror of Ward Ten,died suddenly of a heart attack Monday morning while at the home of aneighbor. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m. at the YankeeSprings Baptist Church, 8 miles north of Calvin. The Rev. Roy Joinerofficiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Herman Bonsall, Douglas Peterson, DonellPeterson, Pruett Huddleston, Prentice Riddle, Coy Babers. A native of Winn Parish, Mr. Huddleston had spent his entirelife in the Ward Ten community. He formerly had served his ward for 12 years aspolice juror, later as game warden. For a number of years he was in thesawmill business and at the time of his death he operated a grocery business. Mr. Huddleston was a member of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church andof the Goldonna Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dora Peterson Huddleston, Ward 10;two sisters, Mrs. Parrie Peterson, Tullos, and Miss Ola Huddleston, Rt. 1,Saline; and one brother, Jim Huddleston, Wyatt, La.
