1Lt Phillips G Huffman Birth: unknown Death: Jan. 20, 1946 1st LT USAAF WWII - MIA-KIA 308th BG, 425th B Sq Pilot B-24D #42-40069 ‘The Pregnant Swan' and its crew were lost on the Hump on 20 March 1943 while enroute from Pandaveswar, India to Kunming, China. It was assigned to the 14th Air Force, 308th Bombardment Group, 425th Squadron and was on its original flight to Kunming to begin work in China. The plane had been cleared from Chabua, India to Kunming, but the location when it encountered problems and the nature of the loss are unknown. There were no survivors.
