Gender Male
Birth[2] 25 Jan 1779 German State
Marriage to Maria Elisabatha Glitzenhien
Death? 23 Mar 1852 Tuscarawas County, Ohio
Burial? Port Washington, Ohio

It is likely Philipp was a Palatine, as were most of these related German Reformed pioneers in southwestern Tuscarawas County, Ohio.

There is an entry in ZION'S KIRCHENBUCH (Jefferson Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio) for a baptism of Caroline Krieger in 1856. Apparently the mother is: Margr. Seibel. Sponsors were: "C. Haupert, Pet. Beck., Cath. Seibel, Cath. Krieger". It seems like there is a Haupert connection to a Krieger at the Port Washington Church? Port Washington is only about 7 miles from Zion's!

The Zion's Kirchenbuch has an 1858 entry for the baptism of Margaretha Krieger, with the same parents, but with different sponsors, including an "Elis. Seibel". It would seem that perhaps Philipp had more daughters between Charlotte and Philippine? There is a big gap between their births!

In the Port Washington "Kirchenbuch" there is a Friedrich Seibel listed as being born in 1844, and also the son of a Friedrich. Related? Could the elder Friedrich be a son of Philipp?
