    24 Aug 1786: Philip White Yeoman and Mary White of Claremont ... administrators [presumably of Ebenezer Conant] for £150 convey to Amos Chase of Unity Gentleman a farm in Claremont of 100 acres.
    25 Aug 1786: Amos Chase of Unity Gentleman for £150 convey to Phillip white of Claremont Yeoman a farm in Claremont of 100 acres.
    Vol. 38, p. 602 7 Feb 1803: Philip White of Claremont Yeoman for $220 convey to Ambross Redfield of Claremont Gentleman a tract of land about 37 acres [sic, see next deed] in Claremont being the east end of my home farm. Also signed by Mary White.

  6. The identification of Andrew's son Philip as the one who married Ebenezer Conant's widow is a little speculative, but is very close to proven by the ages in the 1800 census, the husband being under 45 (Andrew's son born 1757 so 43) and the wife over 45 (Mary b. 1750 so age 50).
