The Rev. Philip C. Schug died November 18, 2005, after a long illness. He was 91.

Schug was born on August 25, 1914, in Hartford City, Indiana. He received a B.A. from North Central College and a B.D. from the Chicago Theological Seminary.

Ordained in 1944 at the Unitarian Church of Urbana, Illinois, he served congregations in San Antonio, Texas; Urbana, Illinois; and Lincoln, Nebraska. He retired in 1983.

Surviving Schug are his wife, Mary, and two children.
