18 Mar 1730[/31]: Bond of James Russell Husbandman of Lexington as admini'r of the Estate of Phillip Russell late of Lexington afores'd Dece'd Intestate. 29 Mar 1731: Inventory of Personal Estate of Phillip Russel yeoman Late of Lexington Deceased: £249-7-7 by Joseph Bowman, John Mason, Joseph Loring. 14 Jun 1731: Appeared (following complaint of James Russell dated 5 Jun 1731) Sarah Russel the widow of Philip Rssell, Philip Russel, Susannah Russel and Will'm Lock and testifed to various advances made to them. Undated but before 13 Nov 1732 when accepted by judge: Inventory of real estate and set off to Widow her dower. "We find the s'd Deceas'ds Real Estate Divided to his heirs in his life time with a Saving of his wifes Right of Dower & Power of thirds: they all having consented to what he did: and having given Quitt Claims to Each other in order to Rattifie ye same: accordingly we have set out ye widdows Dower from Each of their Divisions."
