Note: According to information from Evelyn Tiernay in Jul 1997 there is a

hand written letter from a descendant of James Barron which follows James father Philip and his father Philip which puts 2 generations between Francis and Sylvester. It tells the story of Philip leaving Spain for Ireland, which may be the connection..... Previous imformation has Francis Barron and family fleeing France, and because of Sylvester's Ireland birth I was told the family went from France to Ireland, but with the 2 generations of Philip's it is possible that the family fled to Spain and then Philip (1) made his way to Ireland.
