DEATH: The Clapp Memorial Record of the Clapp Family in America Ebenezer Clapp, Compiler Boston: David Clapp & Son, Publishers 1876 - Page 57 Northhampton Courier Died at Easthampton, Nov. 30, 1847, Mrs. Phebe Clapp, aged 97 years and 7 days. She was married 82 years since to Mr. Benjamin Clapp, and was the mother of fifteen children, thirteen of whom lived to become heads of families. One daughter, now at the age of 79 years, followed her to the grave. She had about seventy grandchildren.
