per cKYgen (2005) [1]: Thomas Hall born in 1760, Augusta Co., VA was the son of Edward Hall and Elinor Stuart. Thomas Hall married Nancy Bartlett Chinn. Children: Daniel, Issac, Elijah, Peyton, Betsy O'Rear, James, & Thomas.

  - There are still problems with the theory that Thomas Hall Esq. (proven son of Edward Hall and Elinor Stuart) is the same person as Thomas Hall (proven husband of Nancy (Bartlett) Chinn). I'm still working on collecting records on these families.
  - Also, per their marriage record, Peyton Hall m. Betsy O'Rear, so the Betsy O'Rear listed in the post is either Peyton Hall's wife or a sister of his named Betsy who also married an O'Rear. I'm still sorting it all out.
