1850 Census: Annotated, compiled by John P. Alderman Peter was another son of Esau and Nancy (Bobbitt) Worrell. Martha was the daughter of Thomas and Ann Hall; she was from Franklin Co. Peter married her in 1826 and acquired a 360 acre farm on which the Southwest Virginia Trading Center is now located. There were seven children shown here and perhaps others who died in infancy.
