    "7967 Peter Tyler Jr. (Peter), baptized in Branford, Ct. in 1709; died in Northford, Ct. 8 Jly 1750; mar. 31 Jan 1734, Hannah Palmer, who administered upon his estate, which was probated in Guilford, Ct. 18 Dec 1750; inventory of his estate is given as £8,516,2,6, of this, '99 acres of land on ye east side of ye way at £45 per acre is estimated at £4,455; a mare, £0O; a Negro boy, £65; younge horse £5' On the 9th of Dec 1751 Hannah adds £469,0,3, to the estimated inventory. The court ordered the distribution as follows: the widow one third; the eldest son Peter, double portion of remainder; each of the other 5 children a single share of remainder. Hannah was appointed guardian to the minor children Peter, Malachi, Lydia and Hannah. Later Peter chose Nathan Painted [probably Nathaniel Taintor, husband of Peter's older sister Submit] of Branford as his guardian."
