Facts and Events
He was Christened Petrus Ericsson. (see the Talk page) At the time of his birth the Åland islands were part of Sweden. In 1809 they were invaded by Russia, and later that year, ceded to Russia as part of Finland. In 1814, it is noted in Church Records that he was in Sweden. By 1821, he was working at the Royal Stables as Peter Rosenberg. In 1834, he left the Royal service. In 1837, he moved to Turinge, Stockholms Lan, where he worked as a coachman for the Widbynas Manor. |
