PETER must have been born in the Palatinate. Was he also one of the Tuscarawas County, Ohio pioneers? The surname is well represented there, many having migrated from Baumholder, in the Palatinate.

WAS ABRAHAM RAUSCH OF URBANA HIS BROTHER?

Five of Peter and Christina's seven ("Forty North") children were born in Ohio.

Peter's wife, Christina, was the daughter of Barbara GEIBEL, one of the central families to the story of "White Creek's" postings. Barbara was born in WALDGREHWEILER.
