Peter Pulver came from the Manor of Livingston, Albany (Now Columbia Cty.) New York to Little Nine Partners, N.E. Precinct, Dutchess, Cty, NY. Pine Plains, Dutchess Cty, NY was formally known as N.E. Precinct, Little Nine Partners, Dutchess Cty, NY. Susannah married Peter when she was thirteen years old, and they had twelve children. In 1772, Peter Wendell purchased a 350 acre farm in partnership with his son John Wendell. This was the beginning of Pulver's Corners (intersection of Route 199 and Cty. Rd 59, east of the town of Pine Plains, N.Y.). Both Peter and Susannah are buried in the cemetery where the Old Red Church stood. The stones are still standing, but difficult to read. The church was built in 1772 on the Pulver farm, and was torn down in 1826. The cemetery is located on Route 199 about 1.9 miles East of the village of Pine Plains, N.Y.
