NEED SOURCES AND CONFIRMATION: possibly a pastor; possible parents: Thomas Pearsall (b. 1820???) and Hattie [unknown maiden name if any since she may have been a slave without an official surname before 1863] Pearsall (b. 1820 Garrard Co, KY).
Here is one person named Thomas Piersall. He MAY be Peter Thomas' father, but have not found any proof as of this point for or against this hypothesis other than the ages and locations and names make this a circumstantial possibility. This Thomas Piersall's wife was Mary, not Hattie. Sources list this man as White. Sources list Peter as Black.
