Mayfield is the county seat of Graves County. . Possibly she was enslaved by and had children by Thomas Piersall https://www.werelate.org/wiki/Person:Thomas_Piersall_%281%29. Possible son https://www.werelate.org/wiki/Person:Peter_Peirsaul_%281%29. This does not appear to be the woman I was researching. The woman I found here appears to be White. I think the Black woman who was the mother of Peter Peirsaul was born in Kentucky.
