Lavina Laughner https://www.werelate.org/wiki/Person:Lavina_Laughner_%282%29 is in Marshall county, Ala. in 1860. She was living with Eliza Laughner (1822-1903) in 1850 in Greene county, Tennessee (where she was born). (Her brother William was living 1850 in Indiana with a family with Greene county, Tennessee ties.) Was Lavina Eliza's sister? Moving to Marshall strongly implies that she is related to Peter. But how?

I think Eliza is Lavina's sister and suggest Peter is her uncle. i.e. Peter and John Laughner (1796-1849) are brothers. (Lavina's parents dying in the 1840s is a reason for Lavina to be living with Eliza in 1850, and William in Indiana.)

So I place Peter as a son of Christian Laughner, whence Lavina is his niece. (Or perhaps daughter? But I had to choose.)

Thanks to Joanna Alexander for drawing my attention to Peter Lauhenore.
