According to EllisIsland.org, Peter Harold came over to stay with his Brother-in-law Alexander Murray c/o Lamont, 614 N4th St. Harrison, NJ. He was 5'9 1/2 inches, with a fresh complexion, brown hair and grey eyes. He had a tattoo on his right forearm. They list his POB as Coatbridge, Scotland. He only came over with $25 to his name.

According to his army transfer papers, he said he was born in 1895, but after looking at all his other information it's more likely that he was born in 1897 and just lied to join the army. At the time of his marriage he was 22 years old which would have meant he was born in 1898 or the latter half of 1897.
