Census/Record: 1880, Peters Creek, Pike co., KY, farmer counted w/wife and aunt Barb Bumgardner, 70, living with them. Next door to them was Richard G. Sergeant whose son Luther married Jane Dotson, d/o Peter Dotson. Local inhabitants say that Peter is the first Dotson to settle in Paw Paw.
