Northampton, widow, late wife of Richard Colles, of Preston, gent., deceased, to Peter Coles, gent., son and heir of the said Richard and Jane: all her estate and title to the capital messuage with appurtenances in PRESTON and all lands, tenements, woods, etc., in LITTLE PRESTON and all the several closes of pasture there called the Over Knapnell close, the Nether Knapnell close, the Oxe ende, the Netherside close and the Comes, which premises were appointed as a jointure for the said Jane by the said Richard Colles: reserving to Jane the yearly sum of £20 during the term of her life.
