1860 census shows Peter and family living in Bucyrus, Crawford Co., OH. His father, Joseph Sr., and brother Joseph Jr. are living with them.

In 1870 he's in Taylor Creek Township, Hardin Co., OH with wife, Rebecca, and 5 children.

Peter moved to NE sometime between 1870 and 1875 because his daughter, Jennie, was on the 1870 census showing born in OH and his son, Fred, in the 1880 census was born in NE. The 1880 census shows him in Kearney, Buffalo Co., NE with wife and 6 children.

Unable to find him in 1900.

He died of liver trouble according to the cemetery records on the Kearney, Buffalo Co., genweb site.

The 1910 census for NE shows his widow, Rebecca, living alone and says she'd had 7 children; 6 are living.
