[Note: this page was entered in accordance with Jacobus, but there are certainly reasons to doubt his arrangement. No birth record is apparent in the birth records for Peter, and the death record names the mother as the first wife Rebecca. There is certainly space during the first marriage to fit another birth, and son John's birth was also unrecorded, so it seems quite possible that Peter was actually a child of that marriage?? Joseph and Silence did have a son Peter after this one died, but it was the name of Joseph's father, and he probably would be expected to use it with any wife he had.]
