  2.   Peter Biehl is correct in the early 1700’s but his mother and dad were Peter Buhl born 6.29.1729 and mother was Magdalena Merkling. Peter Buhl was the son of Mathes Buhl and Anna Dorthea Mueller both born in 1700. These families lived in Lampertheim, Starkenburg, Hess Darmstadt Germany. My Uncle has a contact who lived in Germany and said that the Darnstadt area was a coal mining area. Peter Buhl was from a family of (5) children. Valentine, Johann,Maria and Johann Casper. This information was added by Carolyn Anderson 03-30-2010.
  3.   I have a problem with the dates of Peter Buhl and Magdalene Merkling being the father to Peter Biehl born 21 Mar 1726 according to his tombstone. You have that Peter Buhl born 29 Jun 1729...can't work. I did some research at one point trying to connect this Lampertheim family to our Peter b. 1726 and I believe it is a different family.
