George Bateson, died at his home in this city last Thursday, March 22nd. Deceased was an old and respected pioneer of Hardin Co having resided in it for more than a quarter of a century. He leaves a large family of children, all of whom are grown to men and womanhood. The funeral took place Saturday and the remains placed in a vault in Grove cemetery.
