He would be too young to be a son of Peter de Wyckhurs t, b ut the right age to be a grandson. He probably named after his grandfather, and is likel y th e son of William, since there is a William with wife Juliana living in this vicinity i n 1318 , was probably named after his own grandfather, William, yeoman of 1278. The possessio n and r esidence at "Hooley House" and "Wood Place" is an indication of close relationship o f these p ersons and subsequent generations.
