ARNTZEN, Peter L., age 49, passed away, Saturday, Sept. 17, 1994, as a result of lung cancer. A lifetime resident of Whatcom County, he was born Feb. 15, 1945 in Bellingham to Harold and Wanda (Hatton) Arntzen. He loved to dance and go bowling; served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era and was employed as a warehouse supervisor. He is survived by his parents, Harold Arntzen of Blaine and Wanda Goodwin of Bremerton; two sons, Tony Arntzen of Ferndale and Brian Arntzen of Bellingham; daughter, Marie Arntzen of Ferndale; five brothers, Don, Ron, Dennis, Jack and Dale; four sisters, Corky, Sally, Becky, and Sherry; twin granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 22, 2:30 p.m. in Greenacres Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Wayne C. Bottlinger officiating. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Whatcom County.
