Permelia Carlisle was born about 1818, her father, John Carlisle, was 26 and her mother, Elizabeth Smith, was 24. She married Levi Yeatman in 1838. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 1 daughter. She lived in Hanover, Hanover Township, Licking, Ohio, United States in 1850 and Petty Township, Lawrence, Illinois, United States in 1880. She died in July 1890, in Gove, Gove, Kansas, United States, at the age of 72, and was buried in Grove City, Franklin, Ohio, United States.
