Vancouver, Wash., Nov. 6. - (Special.) - Perlet F. Sheldon, 75, of Scappoose, Or., who came here to spend the winter with his daughter, Mrs. C.R. Bird of Orchards, died in her home today. He was an old time builder and erected many of the buildings here that now are being torn down to make room for modern structures. He was an expert violin maker and turned out many fine instruments. His widow, Lucy, four daughters, Mrs. W.A.Daggett of San Francisco, Mrs Henry Long of Scappoose and Mrs. Bird and two sons, Edwin Sheldon of Seattle and H.D. Sheldon of Scappoose, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren survive.
