On the 9th of July, 1873, after a severe and protracted illness, Penelope M., wife of John Langworthy, and daughter of Matthew M. Crandall, of Little Genesee, N. Y., aged 41 years. In early life, sister Langworthy gave her heart to the Saviour, and united with the 2nd Church of Genesee. Since that time she has lived a consistent Christian life, beloved by all who knew her. During her last sickness, which was very distressing, she gave bright and assuring evidence of her acceptance with God, through her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, leaving with those behind the blest and comforting assurance that she has exchanged a life of suffering for a home in glory.
