Pearl M. Crumrine, 84, of Galloway, West Virginia, died Friday morning, August 23, 1991, at the Broaddus Hospital in Philippi, West Virginia.
She was born March 25, 1907, in Norton, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Charles and Nellie Powley Marteny.
She was married to Grover C. Crumrine, who died May 19, 1987.
She is survived by one sister; Madge Jones of California, Pennsylvania; one brother, Neil Marteny of Bridgeport, West Virginia; also, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded by death by three brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Marteny was a member of the Galloway Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary, Lucinda Rose Post 533, VFW Clarksburg.
She was also a member of Friendship and College Degree, the Ladies of the Moose 699, Shinniston, the Flemington Women's Club, and the Star of America, Rebekah Lodge 79 Flemington. She was elected Southern Belle of Barbour County. She was a member of the Galloway and Barbour County Senior Citizens and she attended the Flemington Senior Citizens. She was a homemaker and had lived in the Galloway community all of her life.
