Octive Dubuisson and brothers Sylvan and Eugene married three Saucier sisters within a 5 week period of time. Octave and his brother owned a 160 acre plot of land on Bayou Portage. On 16 April 1872, they divided the land and Occtave got the strip in the middle. Octave served in the Confederate Army, Company F. 3rd Mississippi Infantry. Shieldsboro Rifles and is buried in St. Paul's Cemetery, Pass Christian, Mississippi. |
