Pauline M. Shingler Wambold, 92, of Bath, passed away on Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 at Alexandria Manor, Bath. Born on April 11, 1923, in Bath, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Hilda (Beers) Overcash. Pauline was the wife of the late Paul G. Wambold, with whom she shared 20 years of marriage prior to his death in 2014. Pauline's first husband, Charles Shingler, died in 1983.
Pauline worked as a secretary at Penn Dixie Cement Co., Nazareth, until retiring. She was a lifetime member of Christ Church, U.C.C. in Bath, where she formally taught Sunday School for many years.
Survivors: step-daughter Alice I. Shunk and her husband Phillip, Sr.; sister-in-law Rose Shingler; step-grandchildren Phillip Shunk, Jr. and Janet Six; 3 step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Pauline was preceded in death by a brother Gerald.
Services: will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the Bartholomew Funeral Home 243 S. Walnut St. Bath, PA. Call, Tuesday, from 10 - 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment at Green Mount Cemetery, Bath.
