Pauline (Hedge) Terrill, age 88, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Pauline was the adored family matriarch who instilled the importance of unconditional love and acceptance.
Pauline was born May 9, 1929 in Boone County, Indiana. She was the sixth of 10 children born to Paul and Effie Hedge. Pauline was raised in Boone County, Indiana and attended Whitestown High School. In 1950, Pauline married the love of her life, Winston L. Terrill, who loved her well and who loves her still. Together, they walked through the trials and triumphs of a life spent loving each other, raising their family and serving both family and friends. Pauline’s most cherished roles were those of Mom and Grandma. She loved rocking babies and taking care of little ones. Pauline also loved sewing, painting, playing cards at the kitchen table, and hosting meals for family and friends in the summer kitchen. She was also a wonderful gardener and had quite the green thumb. She smiled and laughed as her children and grandchildren played baseball and kickball in the barnyard – her beloved Winston as the all-time pitcher. She also loved making food to share and she never missed an opportunity to pour a glass of tea or lemonade for anyone who happened to pass through her kitchen.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Winston, their children: Roger Terrill (Michelle), Marshall, AR; Randall (Kelly) Terrill, Niles, MI; Nancy (Cecil) Gosser, Lebanon, IN; and Carla Terrill Gwinn, Lebanon, IN, daughter-in-law of deceased son, Raymond Terrill.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Terrill; sisters, Lois Sharp and Mary Jane Hedge; and a brother, Eugene Hedge.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, IN. No funeral services are planned.
Interment will follow visitation at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
