Sarasota Herald-Tribune (FL) - March 20, 2004 Deceased Name: Paul David Richards Paul David Richards, 87, Sarasota, died March 18, 2004, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 1, 1916, in Belle, Ohio, and came to Sarasota in 1981 from Mason, Mich. He retired as an accountant after 35 years at Wyeth Laboratories Inc., and was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was past mayor of Mason, Mich., chairman of the Ingham County Board of Supervisors from 1960 to 1968, and lieutenant governor of the Michigan District of Kiwanis. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sarasota.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Mary Ellen; daughters Lynn of Stillwater, Okla., and Kathy Herrick of Holland, Mich.; a sister, Sarah Dotson of Largo; and three grandsons.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, with a service to follow, at Palms Funeral Home. Burial will be in Nashville, Tenn.
