Paul T. Loughner, 44, of Jeannette, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, in Butler Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 25, 1958, in Greensburg, a son of Maybelle M. Tharp Loughner of Jeannette and the late John I. Loughner Sr. Paul was employed by Manor Valley Country Club. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Jeannette; the Claridge American Legion; Polish Brotherhood of the White Eagle, Jeannette; and St. Joseph Polish Club of Harrison City. An avid hunter and fisherman, Paul never knew a stranger. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his better half (as Paul called her for many years), Marjorie Jaffre of Jeannette; a brother, John I. Loughner Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Kansas; a sister, Jil Marie Newsom of Jeannette; two stepsons, Jim and Brian Albertson, both of Jeannette; and nieces and nephews.
