Paul dit Polet LeBLANC was born 1711 in Port Royal, Acadia. He married on 6 Oct 1732 there to Marie-Josephe RICHARD, daughter of Rene' & Marguerite THE'RIAULT (dispensation for 4-4 consanguinity); twelve children. He and his wife were listed in the MA census for 1763. He died between 4 Jul 1767 and 10 Oct 1774 [sic, buried 13 Mar 1773].

Paul dit Polet LEBLANC, son of Pierre & Madeleine BOURQUE, was exiled with his wife Marie-Josephe RICHARD and their children to MA. In 1763 he was listed with other French Neutrals who desired to go to old France. They reached Quebec City in 1767, and in 1770 settled at Nicolet, Quebec. Three sons pioneered resettlement of Memramcook, New Brunswick.
