April 26, 1999; beloved husband of Marion Buchholz Jung; father of Paul, Peter (Elyse), Susan (Thomas) Mureika and Ellen (Lawrence) Dunwoodie; grandfather of Jason Mureika and Claire Dunwoodie; brother of the late Emil (Jim) Jung DDS and Evelyn Jung Smith DDS. Friends may call at CARLTON A. ULLRICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 855 Englewood Ave., Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM and are invited to attend a funeral service at North Presbyterian Church, 300 North Forest Rd., Friday at 11:00 AM. Dr. Jung was a member of Harmonie Lodge #699 F& AM, Buffalo Consistory SPRS, Ismailia Temple AAONMS, and served as an Army Captain in WW II and was a 45 Year Dental Practitioner in Buffalo.

   Evelyn Jung and Howard Smith were married 15 June 1933 at St. Peter's E&R on Genesee and Hickory.
   She was a renowned professor at UB's Dental School and there are still dentists around who speak highly of her. Shwe always used the Jung name as it was a well known name in dentistry here.My uncle, Elmer Jung, had 2 sons who became dentists and a daughter who wa sa dental hygienists. I still have an old article about Ronald Jung (2nd son of Elmer) which recounts the number of dentists in the family. Evelyn's 2 brothers were Emil and Paul, and they shared a practice on Kensington Ave.
