Groh Paul A, 64, 603 S. Main St., retried 20-year operator of Groh’s Standard Service Station at Drake Road and Main St., died Friday in Parkview Hospital. A lifetime Kendallville area resident, he was born Sept. 10, 1920 to Frank and Mary Elizabeth (Zonker) Groh. He married Maggie Handshoe June 14, 1964 in Lisbon. He was a member of Beacon Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Judy Brielmaier of South Bend, Vicki and Jackie at home; a son, Jerry of Defiance, Ohio; five sisters, Phyllis Herman of Coldwater, Mich., Esther Clarke of Fremont, Beulah Cramer of Mishawaka, Ruth Brown of Lucerne, Calif., and Clara Nichols of Elkhart; one brother, Lewis of South Milford; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. One sister preceded him in death. Services will be Tuesday in Beacon Baptist Church. Burial, Christian Union Cemetery. + 12-21-1985 References
