Mr. Clarke, who was 75 year s and 8 months old was born at Uptergrove, Mara Township...The funeral took place on Monday to St. Joseph's Cem., Bracebridge..."

Clark, after engaging all the best mechanical skill in the township, has put up a building 40 x 66 w ith 20 foot side posts. It is laid out within, in an entirely original style; it is built on a stone wall ten feet in height and...Mr Clark is not only a scientific farmer, but a prosperous butcher , and does a business in the latter line, which many of your town butchers might well envy."
